    Hasho, it is possible they put a keylogger on your PC. Run a virus check, malware check, spyware check, defrag, and re-boot. Hopefully this will clean out any "junk" these morons tried to trick you with. :D

    Thank you FlakeMistress!! I did everything you said to do and I was waiting to make sure it was safe before coming back on here. I didn't want anyone getting my personal information. I got a response from a law firm in Minneapolis, Minnesota. They want to have a phone interview on Friday just to screen who they want to come in for an in-person interview. Is that a normal thing to do? I just don't know anymore because of all of these scams!!

    Hasho, I would say see what they have to say and if you get a feeling they are trying to bait you into anything, HANG UP!! Like if they start asking you for your SSI #, personal information, want you to run a credit check, etc... Anything that gives your gut instinct a "warning"...follow it. Follow your 6th sense. You will know if they are trying to pull one over on ya within a minute of the conversation.

    Hopefully it really is a legitimate law firm and you can get a job out of it. Keep us posted!! icon_biggrin

    Thank you, I will for sure!! I'm pretty sure it is a legitimate law firm. I googled them and even found their website. I didn't find them on here and nothing bad popped up right away when I searched for their name like with the other scammers. I hope it goes well! Thank you for your advice! I'm young and need all the advice I can get! lol
