  I don't know of any sites that are immune from scammers, but free sites (such as craigslist) are the worst. For office work, consentrate your search to ads that supply a company name. You can research them and apply directly through their site or go down to the unemployment office and use their database.
  
  You might for now want to change your career path and focus on retail sales. The holidays are coming up and you stand a good chance of landing a job in a store. Go to your local mall and fill out applications.

  You'll even see scam sites advertising on yahoo news and AOl news....ie Things that improve body functions including diets..I have even seen known iffy penny auction sites advertising.......So with that in mind as ThePowersThatBe said no sites are really immune when it comes to scammers...

  Agreed. Even our own site, here, has been subject to would be scammers trying to phish stuff out of us. Fortunately, I catch them. Hehehehehe
