It's now my time to deal with this fool. He is still doing missionary work in Hertford NC. Wants $2,000 ($900 rent $1,100 security deposit). I'm sending my application now.

Took him close to a week to reply back to you. He will get back to me eventually, probably with "sorry for the delay" in the subject line. I'll give him a view days and then I'll contact him.

I am also dealing with another rental scammer who is slow in responding. I sent my application days ago and haven't heard anything. I have to email him and try to light a fire under his a**.

This guy is an idiot. Didn't acknowledge my previous email at all or read what is written on my rental application cause he asked when I will have the deposit money. I purposely wrote that the funds are available today (Monday) in the hopes that he would jump quickly on the deal.

I responded back and told him that if he doesn't act weekly I am signing a lease on Wednesday.

I haven't heard back from him either... usually they reply back just to cuss me out because I didn't choose them or I got the Western Union account #s wrong, etc... Damn scammers... just can't seem to satisfy them I guess.

Never heard back. Not a very good scammer. Would love to be a fly on the wall when he/his boss realizes that between you and I they is out $4,000. Wonder how many other deals they lost.

LMFAO!!!! He is probably one of those scammers that DOES call around to verify #s. No wonder he never replied to me...When he tried to call, it went directly to the Salem Police Department!!!

I think the majority do not verify your information unless there is a problem. With you I don't think he called. He simply waited too long and you found another rental. - bet he had some explaining to do.

Because I gave him a time frame in which to contact me with his decision (and he missed it), he probably was instructed to call me instead of emailing me.

I think they only curse you out and threaten when they are one step away from obtaining the money and realize that they have been played.
