Thanks for your interest about our 2 bedrooms, 2 Bath, Sqft: 1,023, Single Family House. It is still available for rent and we would need a good and honest family to take care of it.

My family and I are currently in West Africa for a new job I just acquired down here with Chevron. Before we left the state, we searched for a God fearing and reputable agent to handle the rent and help us walk interested people through to have a proper viewing of the inside but the agents inflates the price and it takes longer to rent it out we are telling you this in case you find the house on another website, that is the old advert please take note on that So we need a good and honest tenant that will take proper care of the house for us. We came along with the keys, remote and the papers. I’m willing to rent out the home to a tenant who is able to come up with first month's rent of $700 and security deposit of $600.I will like him/her to assure me that our house will be properly managed.

We need someone or a family that will take good care of our home as their own property. If you can assure me that you can take proper care of our home and also you can afford the move in deposit, kindly confirm your interest by getting back to me with the below application details. Note that the house keys, remote and the papers will be ship to you by Via U.P.S office.

Me: Dear Jack:

Drove by the house last night and this morning. Love it! Great timing on my part this morning since the painters were just finishing up the trim work and let me in. (the house is vacant) Great idea to paint everything white, makes the house look bigger inside and I'm glad they got rid of that ugly blue in the dining room (taken from photo).

Thanks for the mail and your interest in taking proper good care of our house and also for the rental application form, it is well filled out, i must say we are really happy to hear from you.. I have showed your full information to my family and they are very much okay with it and we have decided to rent out our house to you, as i have told you in the previous mail that me and my family are out of the country, the keys and the paper work of the house will be ship to you, but first you will have to secure the house by coming up with the security deposit so that we can secure the house till your moving date.

please below here are the questions we want you to answer because we want to know some certain things that are not clear to us here okay

1)Will you be able to take very good care of my property?
2)Where do you wants the keys and the paper work to be ship to?
3)Who will be receiving the keys and the paper work?
4)How soon do you want the keys to be ship to you?
5)How much can you pay to secure the house till your moving date?

The following document will be send to you via UPS COURIER SERVICE on next day delivery services to the address you provided to us, and the tracking number on the packages will be send to you so that you can possibly occupy our house.

Here are the contents of the document that needs to be sent.

1) Entrance and the rooms Keys
2) Paper/Permanent house form
3) The house documentary file.
4) Full Description of the house
5) Payment Receipt.

so as soon as you answer the questions above we will proceed further on how you will be receiving the keys and the paper work okay and also to let you know that it will be ship by UPS COURIER SERVICE DELIVERY and will be delivered to your door step in the next 18 hours after the payment is been confirmed okay.

So do get back to us asap so that we can proceed further.

Wow, I'm really surprised to hear back from you after all this time (close to 3 weeks). I was beginning to think that you were on to me and that I would not have the satisfaction of calling you out as a scammer.

I've known all along (before I even contacted you) that you were running a scam and that you were not the owner of the house on Jefferson Street. I just wanted to waste your time and lead you to believe that you might get your grubby little hands on $1,300.

I think they are overwhelmed by the responses they get and they can't get a handle on it.
