This guy has been reported already here. Just wanted to give my info as it sounds like he may have changed his wording a bit. I can't figure out which ad I replied to for him to get my info. Here is our correspondence so far:
My name is Richard Dalton with Human Resources. We've received quite a few replies for this position, and I admit I admire the professionalism you exhibited in your reply. You seem more than qualified for this position and we would like to set up a first interview.
As a precaution, we like to run a background and credit check before your first phone interview. Would you be open to this?
Thanks,
Richard

Richard,
I appreciate your reply. I would be more than happy to submit to credit and background checks, however I am sure you can understand my trepidation doing so before I have any verifiable information about you or your company. If you could provide me with a company name I would be more than happy to call in and verify prior to giving out any personal information online.
Thank you again and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Thanks for the quick reply.
We have a long standing relationship with a credit reporting bureau (free service). Please fill out the information here [link to yogift.us/9/NxqQo1 -jockelost] to continue the interview process: There is a section at the end where you will be asked to send a copy of your report. Please fill out my email rdalton.hr@gmail.com. Reply back when done so we can begin your phone interview (the first will be with me) and background check.
Thanks again,
Richard Dalton

Dearest Richard,
I may not have been clear in my last email. I apologize. All relationships can fall victim to miscommunication problems. Do not be discouraged. We can work through this. The information I would like to be able to verify is your company's name and whether or not you are,in fact, a real employee of said company. The fact that you have not yet revealed this information, coupled with sending me to a redirect site that just launched launched on 12/22/09 for financial information seems a bit unorthodox. But I suppose that one month could be considered a "long standing relationship." Just eighteen hours after our first contact I consider ours to be stronger than most. I want to trust you very badly, (even though my magic 8-ball says "Outlook Unclear" when asked about my future with your company) because of the fact that your HR department is apparently still working at 10:14 PM on a Friday night, as evidenced by your first email to me. Now that is really burning the midnight oil! Such dedication is rare in this day and age, and should hardly be rewarded with distrust and cynicism.
Please send me the name of your company so we can clear up this whole sordid mess and I can give you access to any more fiduciary information you require, i.e. social security number, bank account numbers, location of my buried treasure, etc.
Love,
JS

Nothing back yet. Obviously this is a scammer. Any other places I can go to let people know about this? I will spend any and all time I can trying to ruin this person's scam. Love the site. Will be here often.

This person also goes by John Dalton. He's been very busy. Search this site for jdalton.hr@gmail.com You can post this scammer on craigslist just like he posts fake jobs. Good luck. |
