Post Title: Front Office Manager
Location: new orleans
States affected: LA - louisiana
Notes:
There is a fraudulent post on craigslist jobs @ new orleans that has copied a real ad for employment from a company called "just kids" dental. This group is vicious - I have just received my 5th reply from a totally "different" person/company that once again tries to get me to go input personal information at a new link online. This one is for Mystery Shoppers and is totally disconnected from the original fake ad, but they continue to use the subject "Front Office Manager" that was on craigslist. The text of the reply is below:
You are PROBABLY a bit over-qualified for this position, however,
if you are just looking for some extra, easy cash, then this may
be perfect for you.
The position is for an Online Mystery Shopper. You will be doing
online shopping, filling out offers for merchants, and receiving
products in the mail. You will then be asked to rate that merchant
based on your experience.
You will be fully compensated, IN ADVANCE, for all products you
purchase, IN ADDITION to your normal salary. This means there
is no cost to you at all. You will be earning money from us,
AND helping future customers by rating your merchant experience.
Requirements:
-Reside in the USA.
-18 yrs of age or older.
-AT LEAST 10 hours per week of time, and Internet Access, of
course. (You can work wherever you have internet access on
your own time and pace)
-A PayPal account (this is how we pay you, it is free to create
an account if you do not have one)
I'll be honest with you, this will not get you rich, this will
simply earn you some extra cash. So, if this is something you
may be interested in...
Go ahead and fill out the Mystery Shopper Application online on
our company's website:
>>>>>>>>>> http://www.MysteryShoppersCorp.com/new2 <<<<<<<<<<
You will receive full details after applying online. There is
no cost for you to get started. The pay is *about* $12/hour.
Also, feel free to email us, we always respond quite quickly.

I agree that these folks may be wrong with their tactics, but there are legitimate mystery shopping jobs available. They do not pay much, but they are real. here is what I posted somewhere else: I do not know about this company in particular, but what is the scam? Here is a job posted on the 'Mystery Shopping Providers Association" : http://mspa.jobslinger.com/exec/vec/jobboard/4363a58dd943 Seems as if you have to be an actor, try to buy cigs or alcohol without showing your ID (which would make you a liar) and THEN they will reimburse you LATER for your purchase IF you were able to buy it without showing said ID. My understanding of the online mystery shopping is that you get any monies required UPFRONT for the trial offers, do the offer, show proof that you did it, never reveal you are a shopper, get paid some amount per hour as well, and evaluate the process. Where is the scam? |
