Post Title: Employment Administrative Assistant

States affected: FL - florida

Notes:
desperately sending out emails and resumes looking for work. I received an email, just the same as others;
Thank you for replying to our job listing posted on Craigslist and for taking the time to send in your resume. I am the human resources assistant for our company, XRC Inc. From the many responses I received you have been chosen for further consideration. I have reviewed your resume and I feel that your experience would serve you well in this position should you be chosen to work with us.

I would like to schedule an interview with you this week if possible. We will be conducting interviews within the next 4 to 5 business days. Please note that our company requires all potential employees to have a credit score on file for your interview. We ask for this because you will have access to company credit cards for business expenses. You also will be given petty cash and will be passed access to the expense accounts. We request that each likely employee complete this as this ensures us that our future employee is credible, trustworthy and can be an asset of the company.

Please also note that because of the recent economy we take in to consideration that there may be some blemishes on a large portion of applicant scores. Rest assured that our hiring will not be dependent strictly on a per score basis.

Please complete and print your credit score from this Link You will need to bring a copy with you to your interview. This credit score costs you nothing and is completely secure from the most trusted credit score website online.

Please complete this first step ASAP as we only have 48 hours to set up interviews. When you have completed the credit score reply to this email and we will set a time for an interview. You will be interviewing with Elizabeth Moore, our staffing manager.

Congratulations on becoming a candidate for our company!

I look forward to meeting with you.

This is just a scam to get you to pull your credit report, it is linked in their email. I can only guess that they get paid for every time someone pulls their credit or they can obtain your credit information somehow.
They are not the only ones, I have received 3 or 4 more just like it. The very first one I read, I knew there was something up. It talked about using a company credit card and making cash deposits, but stated they need your credit for the honesty and the use of the credit card. What about the large cash deposits you were going to make.
