this scammer is also posting rental ads. When you reply to the ad on craigslist, you receive a nice response asking that you complete a credit check on the link provided to make sure you are "eligible". LOOK OUT. The is a scam. |

I received an email from this scammer, too. I'm in Jacksonville, Fl. I'm guessing that clicking on the link provided in the email will take you to a website they designed, which will allow them to access or see all the personal info you enter to get your "credit check", like name, date of birth, social security number, etc. They have no need to receive a return email from you because they've already obtained your personal identity info.....I reported this to the FBI. |

Ditto for an ad for a house to rent in State College PA--refuses to meet until you do the 'credit check', after which I doubt you will ever hear from him again until he's stolen your identity. Tried to reply to the e-mail for more information--fake hotmail address, bounced twice. |
