I applied for the position which was posted on Craig's list - Chico.
I was 'one of the five applicants' they want to interview but they want me to got to their link and apply for a credit report which I would bring with me to the interview.
In 40 years of interviewing for jobs I have NEVER been asked to provide personal financial information.
I believe this may be a scam.

Got the same email applying for a job here in Bakersfield, CA. It is indeed a scam and they want references to try to scam those people too! I knew it was a scam when I emailed them that the link didn't even work and that I would bring the information to the interview and got no response. I wasn't about to do this but wanted to see what they would say. No answer. Big surprise there! |

Other names used on reply email
I have also seen Service Management Group on here with other people listing them as a Flake not realizing that they have been reported already and that there is just another name being used in the email reply. One of the listings for this company on this site has the actual email that they send out so check it and see if it is what you are getting and it may just say its from another person! |
