My situation was also from job applicaton I submitted to Pastin Corp, the position was Customer Service/Office Admin. Below is the email I received from them after they received my resume. I submitted the information from the credit bureau report and also sent another email requesting status on the hiring status on the position, no response to either email.



Their response to my resume:


Hey Mary Ongley, it is fantastic to hear from you.


I appreciate you e-mailing us. In case our ad was not extremely clear, the responsibilities of this position are as follows: you will be answering our main phone and taking messages when applicable, you will be scheduling our company meetings, and errand running for us for things such as purchasing supplies and making our bank deposits (you will always be provided with a company car). While you are running errands, you will also be given one of our company credit card(s) for all business purchases.


You seem definitely qualified for the current position, and more so than the other 21 people I received resumes from. I would like to find an available time to set up the next step with you. However, before I can schedule a formal meeting, my company will require you to attain a fairly recent(from the past 10-15 business days) credit report. We, at Pastin Corp, started this because we have unfortunately had some bad experiences with prior employees exploiting having access to one of the company credit cards.


Both myself and the company will prefer it that you use http://PastinCorp.com/Credit-Report to attain your report as they are currently offering a credit report, at zero cost to you. Pastin has also found that their checks always report back the most factual and accurate information compared to others.


Once you submit all required information, their company will show your personal report. Then, you will need to email me the reported credit score, a daytime phone number, and your schedule of availability to set up an interview.
Please do not email me the complete report, as it will have private information. In the chance that you currently have a lower than expected credit score, it will never prevent you from a position with us. Personally, I had a fairly low score when I started.


If you don't wish to complete a recent credit check, unfortunately Pastin will require that I contact our second choice.

Honestly, I am hoping to get this position filled with a new friendly face and looking to your quick response.
