The link in the email above, which is now a dead link, took me to a place to enter in my cc# for a $1 refundable fee to obtain my FREE credit score. I was routed to 2 other websites eventually landing at Credit Diagnosis. I was eventually told I would need to enter in my ss# to verify my identity, I stopped here. I have ordered a new debit card also. BUT after all was said and done I had already blindly signed up for a $30 monthly service (for which I called and canceled immediately): NOTE: I had to read a super long email from them to catch this 1 paragraph:

"So take advantage of your Credit Diagnosis benefits during your 7-day trial membership period. We invite you to use our services for the full 7-day trial period. If within 7 days you don't feel that our services and benefits are everything we say they are, simply call us toll-free at 888-530-2890 to cancel your membership. Credit Diagnosis will automatically charge/debit the $29.95 membership fee to your card on 8/25/2010 and, unless you call to cancel, on or about the same date for each new membership month."

Yea they are sneaky with those added itty bitty "paragraphs". Sometimes I wonder why the actual credit reporting companies that these scammers are linking too don't also get in trouble with the government. TO me it seems they are just as guilty.
