OK so in the detailed email to me from "Sarah".....it said this;

"The position will require you to work in a high financial environment so it's our corporate policy that we do a financial verification check on all employees to verify applicant registration info. Its corporate policy that we have applicants sent through our link so we are compliant with the U.S employment standards act. Please copy and paste this link into your browser and complete the free report now: http://mediamanagment.info?id=915654e133. Fill out the form and indicate that you want the free report. PLEASE DO NOT email us your report. Instead print it out and bring a copy to the interview as we will need to have it on file. Since this is just a pre-screen formality your actual score will not affect your chances of being hired. Please take a few minutes to do this now."

When you go to that link you go somewhere to obtain your FREE credit report....you end up going to 2 other sites eventually entering your credit card number (for a $1 refundable fee, which I have seen before and they had credible security logos....so I was not too convinced ... yet) then I ended up somewhere where the website said I would need to enter my social security number to verify identity, I pulled out then!

BUT it was too late I had already signed up for a $30 service and was about to be charged in 7 days after my FREE 7-day trial! Jerks! ERG! I called and canceled it, immediately. I dodged a bullet there! I dont even have $30, hence the job search! See email from Credit Diagnosis, where I ultimately ended up purchasing this service, when I thought I was applying for a job:

"If within 7 days you don't feel that our services and benefits are everything we say they are, simply call us toll-free at 888-530-2890 to cancel your membership. Credit Diagnosis will automatically charge/debit the $29.95 membership fee to your card on 8/25/2010 and, unless you call to cancel, on or about the same date for each new membership month."

NOTE: now when you hit up the link above in her email, the link is dead.

Also before I realized what happened, fully, I had emailed "Sarah" this:

"Dear Sarah,

I am available Morning (8-12) or evening (1-5) for an interview. Can we please schedule an interview and go from there?

I am so sorry, but I just began going through the process of getting my credit score to print it out at your request and I am now uncomfortable with this process, as I have had to enter my credit card number in one site for $1 refundable transaction. It has now sent me to a couple of other sites and is talking about verifying my social security number and now I am very uneasy. I also don't know the name, phone number nor address of your business nor is their one in your signature. I certainly hope you can appreciate my position and hesitation. I assure you my credit score is good, as I have obtained it in July and it was 723, I can bring in that paperwork. Will this suffice?
