Scammer BATHOLIN
I also saw the exact same ad on Craigslist in the Spokane market. And, I too received the exact same email as above with the exact same application code which took me to the exact same page that the only tab that works is the application one. I did not enter any info as I was curious about this company and googled it and found this website. Thanks for the info!! Beware people. |

Seems to be baloney
I just received this exact email response that the original poster just linked. Though I was excited about a possible job prospect coming my way, I'm always wary when I see links that looked like what showed up when I went there. Closed the browser and opened up another one in sandboxed mode to avoid any security risks. When I revisited the link, it was gone without a trace. As mentioned with the above posts, only the tab of the website for careers was active from the site when it popped up and everything else was dead links. Stock photos of employees and fake company name and all, seems like a phishing site from what I saw. Error code when returning for the second time: Not Found The requested URL /404.php was not found on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. Apache/2.0.63 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.0.63 OpenSSL/0.9.8e-fips-rhel5 mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 Server at treburg.com Port 80 |

Also wanted to note - I contacted and was responded to from an ad at a different link than the OP
http://dayton.craigslist.org/ofc/1887166790.html This was the ad that I got my reply from which was identical to the response the original poster got (from a completely different ad source) |

Should I be concerned?
Got the exact same thing here in Chattanooga, TN. Like others, I was excited about a possible job prospect, but chose to look up the company before I did anything. However, with my initial response to the craigslist ad, I sent my resume which contains my phone number and address. Should I be concerned about that? |

Just Received this too
Same exact email with a different code here in the Cali Central Coast as well. I expected as much. I broke my own rule of only applying to Craigslist postings that list actual info about the company (name, phone, address, REAL email addy, etc). Should have known better, but starting to get desperate for a job. I'm automatically wary of any email I get from a company that isn't well known, especially the ones that say go here and fill out this questionnaire. The ones that say you need a credit check to even fill out the app are the best. Are people really this gullible that they fall for these scams?? |

I'm in the club!
I found an add in Medford Oregon's CL for a Admin. Asst. in a daycare facility. When I received an email response this morning for that inquiry, guess what? It was the exact email you all are describing. Like you, I tried to do a little research before giving out any of my information as I had never heard of such a daycare facility in my area (Treburg). This link is the ONLY link I located via Google that brought up anything regarding Mr. Teutsch and Treburg. I would advise you all locate his CL ads and flag them. He is obviously up to something. Thank you for all your experiences, because you just saved me too! |

In California too!
Anytime I get an email responses to a job application at 1:30am, I get suspicious. Glad I found this site. He's posting in the Inland Empire in California. It's hard enough trying to find a job, without jerks like this! |

In Florida as well.
I also received the same email. This is the response I emailed back to him: Martin, How excited I was to get your response, but just to be safe, I googled your company and guess what I discovered...you're a fake. But I was still curious to see how far this would go, so I logged onto your application site and filled in the data with a ficticous number. Really, if your going to scam people, maybe you should google yourself just to see if anybody is on to you. You must be a miserable failure at financial scams if you can't keep yourself off a fake list. Doubt it will make a difference, but god it made me feel good! |

Let's add Missouri to the list
Same thing: Craigslist, resume, return email, google. It breaks my heart that people are so hell bent on scamming those of us doing our best to find a good job to support ourselves. UGH. Much thanks to this website, I'm so glad I googled first! |

Craigslist has a lot of these scammers on there. This is the third one that I have encountered while trying to find employment. |

Wait....
I filled out the stupid screening but started to work on the credit report when I decided that I didn't feel comfortable giving it to them. So I just wrote that in the box and sent it. Can he track the information I put on the credit page even though i never finished that? I typed in my social security number and address but never actually finished it or hit ok... Can he track that information? I really hope not. |

TREBURG in Riverside, CA
I got the same response today here in Riverside, CA, from TREBURG NETWORKS, LLC., thru CraigsList. I finished going all the way thru give my social security number and date of birth. I stopped when they wanted my credit card number for the credit score. Man, I am such an idiot. I hope they don't try to use my credit. Now I am going to have to keep an eye out on my credit service. |
