Everything is completely renovated in this modern single family home.
House has a 2 full baths, dinning room, laundry, kitchen with LG appliances, large closets, living room, two bedrooms. High efficiency heater and central air.
Conditions: first & last months rent and one month security deposit.

after emailing the craigslist address and receiving an email back from mark savorn
I did the credit check online, thinking it was no biggie because other places that I have looked at asked for the same, never provided a link though. But after doing so I became suspicious and Googled Mark Savorn and found this website amongst others.
His reply to my inquiry was such

I am the Owner and this place is amazing. I have lived here for 2 years now but I was just recently blessed with my first child so me and my husband will be moving out to be closer to my parents. Anyway the apartment is 1400sqft and all Pets are welcome, the size of your pet does not matter. I offer a 6 month, 1 yr or a 2 yr lease. The Deposit is $250. All utilities are included, even the cable and internet. Theres is also a brand new dishwasher, laundry machine and dryer which is a huge plus. We basically made the apartment mint. When we moved in it was totaly new but we kept on adding upgrades to make everything even better. The kitchen is amazing if you love to cook. I am a chef so I made sure we installed all the bells and wistles. Everything is beautiful granite and even a Viking Refrigerator. The bedrooms can all fit King Size beds with tons of space left over. We also just had a new toilet installed in the bathroom and also we added some new tile. I want to make sure this apartment goes to someone who really loves it. It means so much to my wife and I. Before I can even consider you I need to make sure your credit is in good standing. If it is not please be honest with me. Trust me I understand how hard it is. If you are honest you still have a very good chance of getting the apartment. My main priority is that I find someone who is a good person and will pay on time.

Busted!
Totally busted! If you read the message carefully you'll notice that in the second sentance the author talks about being blessed with a child and refers to her "husband" indicating that it is written by a woman. Then about 2/3 the way down it says "it means so much to my wife and I". Wait a minute, I think you just got caught in a lie! If you're going to write a fake e-mail, at least figure out if you're going to pose as a man or woman and stick with that. Another inconsistency is that in the description the owner asks for 1st + last mo. rent + sec. dep. but in the response he or she asks for $250. |
