Thanks for making this post site! I received this same e-mail last night around 11:45pm. It seemed kind of legitimate, so as always I researched the firm and this site is the fist hit. Incredible how hard they try to scam.

I can't believe what is in these scammers' hearts when we are desperately in need of work we receive all sorts of alluring garbage such as selling me a holiday in Florida on my cell phone which is prepaid because it is the cheapest plan so I have to pay for these useless calls because Im eagerly waiting for responses for jobs. And now this letter to add to the misery as if it is not enough. God help them for they know not what they are doing and how much misery they are causing people like myself.

We prefer you use //creditreport247.org/coupons1 to obtain this information as they currently have a free trial. We have also found their reports most accurate. When you submit your information they will send you your credit score.

When you email me your credit score, we can schedule for an interview. Please do not email me your credit report, as this may have private information in it.

If you have a low credit score, that will not prevent you from having an interview with us, but it does show us that you are trustworthy and responsible.

Please send me your schedule with availability for an interview along with your credit score. I am looking forward to your response.

Thanks for posting this and yes, I already submitted another scammer report also.

Unfortunately I googled after, what should I be worried about? I immediately canceled the membership of the creditreport.com website as well as put a stop on my bank card which I used.

The report was pretty accurate. What is their motive? To lure people in to the creditor site or to hack into the computer and possible identify theft? :( i feel really stupid and hope that I will not be a victim of identity theft.

They are abusing the affiliate programs of the credit sites. Affiliates get a percentage whenever new members sign up, so they trick people into joining via the fake job/rental ads.

I cant believe I actually fell for this. I was able to contact the credit report company immediately and they cancelled the membership and also advised me of the number of calls they had received just today in regards to this. The email I sent to the "company" this evening was returned to me as undeliverable so Im guessing they shut the account down or something. I will have to pay close attention to my credit card statements.
