Hello,

Thanks for responding to our listing so promptly. This job is very straight forward. Basically, you will be answering the phone, scheduling meetings, and running company errands, but we really need someone to answer the phone. When running errands we will be providing you with a company credit card.

We do require that you get a copy of your credit report and score. You can get it free click here for the link.

Once you get your credit report and sore please email us so that we can send you your application. Once your application is received I will call you to schedule a face to face interview.

Finally, we have full and part time positions available, so please send us your available work hours. Best Wishes!

Sincerely,

Robert Banks

I just got a similar email in response to an ad on craigslist regarding renting a house in Lexington Kentucky. It was from Robert and Angela Banks. I went back and flagged his posts as well.

Robert Banks

He also had a house for rent posted on Craigslist for Pensacola Fl. Same exact messeage. I noticed that the credit report link was directed through another site, and he wouldn't tell me where the house was. That's when I googled his address and found him here. I reported him as well.

Robert Banks Scam - Lubbock, Texas
I got this last night after responding to an ad about a rent house on Craigslist in the Lubbock, Texas area. Hello, Thanks for taking the time to email us about the place. We thought we had the place rented last week to a young couple, but communication has dropped off. You are the first person to email about it since we put it back on the market . It would only be fair that we gave you the first shot at the property. Normally, we would prefer a year lease, but would also be open to shorter terms. I'm sure that you will want to see the property before making a final decision. I would simply give you the address and let you swing by, but my wife is against blindly advertising an empty home online. Rest assured the home has been up kept properly and had a good cleaning and fresh coat of paint. Basic utilities are currently on, but we expect that you would get them put into your name fairly quick. If you want to go ahead and schedule a time to see the property, go to the link below and print off the free copy of your report. Your score isn't necessarily important, we're just interested in seeing that there are no evictions / landlord related judgments. Here is the link: Free Credit Score/alturl.com/5razh> I am very open as far as appointments go to show the property. Any morning after 10am is fine. Just let me know when you have everything printed and be sure to leave me a contact number to reach you at and any desired time. I will call you to confirm a time and choose a place to meet. Thanks for looking, Sincerely, Robert and Angela Banks

Robert Banks Scam

I seen a listing on Craigslist for an amazing deal on a house! (3 bedroom for $500) So of course, my fiance and I wanted to jump on it as soon as possible. So I email him, asking what the move in costs are, if they accept pets, and if there are additional photos available. I get this back:

Now, at first, I thought it was a little strange that he didn't answer my questions. But I wasn't concerned at the time. I was just so excited about finding an affordable place. I start to do the credit thing, then I stop. Something didn't feel right. So I email him back, saying that I would love to view the house before I print anything off on my score. Waited a few hours (which again, I thought was weird cause the first response was within minutes), then decide to google his email, for the hell of it. And sure enough, he's on here.

Thank you so much for whomever posted him. Luckily, the only thing he got from me was my name, and my cell phone number. Neither of which he can do anything with. :)

More Names - same letter - Sandusky, OH

I got the same exact rental responses from not just Robert Banks, but Tod Mortonson and Andrew McCoy, too. It was kind of fishy when I got identical responses on the same day from 2 different people, which sounded a lot like the one I got 3 weeks ago from the 3rd.
