Notes:
This is the email I received today from this Scammer. People please beware. They are in the St. Louis, MO Craigslist and I know there are some people put there who will send them their information.
"Hello,
Thank you for sending your resume to me. So the job responsibilities are clear, you will be answering the phone, scheduling meetings, and running company errands such as buying office supplies and making bank deposits, in a company car. When running errands you will be provided with a company credit card to make supply purchases, etc.
We have had some bad experiences with prior employees taking advantage of having access to a company credit card in the past, so before we can schedule an interview, we need you to get a credit check. We prefer you use http://silvercreditcheck.com/offer to obtain this information as they currently have a free trial. We have also found their reports most accurate. When you submit your information they will send you your credit score.
When you email me your credit score, we can schedule for an interview. Please do not email me your credit report, as this may have private information in it.
If you have a low credit score, that will not prevent you from having an interview with us, but it does show us that you are trustworthy and responsible.
Please send me your schedule with availability for an interview along with your credit score. I am looking forward to your response.
Sincerely,
Jane Yung
HR Manager

Mail Room Clerk
They are also on Craig's List in Las Vegas. $18.00 hr. for the mail room. I looked them up on the Clark County website and there is no business license for them. They are going by the name Rogers and Hendricks here, with the same info that they are sending all over the country. When I responded to the email and told them that I had a recent copy of my credit report, they insisted that I use the one they recommended. Glad I found this site. |

Mail Room Associate: Craigslist Posting- janeyung@@rogersparkllp.com
I found a listing in the Jobs:Admin/Sec for Central New Jersey (The state I live in) for a Mail Room Associate position. It's not exactly the dream job I was looking for, but I've been out of school and unemployed for nine months and I NEED to get out of this house for sanities sake. So, I took a chance and applied. I normally don't responded to listings that don't tell you the name and address of the company, but nine months locked up at home made me throw common sense out the window. I have a little experience working for an insurance company, so I’ve had to have a credit check for work once and found that part normal, but NOT before an interview. When I worked there I interviewed, started training and when I filled out my paperwork they ran a credit check (its standard when you work with finances) I’ve also been in charge of running background and credit checks and have handled sensitive information. NEVER do you obtain or give that information over any internet connection. So, when I read that I thought I would look up the company and call them but this site came up as the first link and there were no businesses found in my area by this company’s name. Thank you all for giving everyone the heads up and I hope I get to help out people in my area the way you all did. Thanks again! Here is the E-mail (copied and pasted) that I received this morning: Hello, Thank you for sending your resume to me. they're using another name!
I'm just updating my last comment because they sent me another one under the company name Fordons, LLC! Here's what it looks like: Good Morning _______ _______, You seem extremely qualified for the current position, and more so than the other 12 applicants we have received e-mails from. I would like to find an available time to set up our next step with you. Although before I am able to set up an interview, my company requires you to acquire a recent(from the past 10-15 business days) credit report. We, at Fordons LLC, have made this a standard because the company have unfortunately had some bad experiences with prior employees taking advantage of us. Both myself and the company require you use the link here- //freecreditscore-19.com/?id=2s0cLbWwAf7z to acquire your report as they are giving the report at zero cost to you. Fordons has also found that their checks always report back the most factual and accurate information compared to others. After you submit all of the necessary information, they will show your personal score. Please do not email me your entire credit report, as it will have private information, simply bring it with you to our meeting. In the chance that you have a less than desirable credit score, it does not prevent you from a position with us. Personally, I had a pretty low score whenever I started. If you don't want to send in a recent credit check, unfortunately Fordons will require that I contact our second choice. Personally, I am hoping to fill this position with a new friendly face and looking forward to your quick response. Another one similar to it from Knoxville Craigslist!
Hello, Thank you for replying to our job listing posted on Craigslist and for taking the time to send in your resume. I am the human resources assistant for our company. From the many responses I received you have been chosen for further consideration. I have reviewed your resume and I feel that your experience would serve you well in this position should you be chosen to work with us. I would like to schedule an interview with you this week if possible. We will be conducting interviews within the next 4 to 5 business days. Please note that our company requires all potential employees to have a credit score on file for your interview. We ask for this because you will have access to company credit cards for business expenses. You also will be given petty cash and will be passed access to the expense accounts. We request that each potential employee complete this as this ensures us that our future employee is credible, trustworthy and can be an asset of the company. Please also note that because of the recent economy we take in to consideration that there may be some blemishes on a large portion of applicant scores. Rest assured that your credit score itself isn't very important, but the report is still required by our company. Please complete and print your credit score by going to the following link .onlinescores360.com/report You will need to bring a copy with you to your interview. This credit score costs you nothing and is completely secure from the most trusted credit score website online. Please complete this first step ASAP as we only have 48 hours to set up interviews. When you have completed the credit score reply to this email and we will set a time for an interview. Congratulations on becoming a candidate for our company! I look forward to meeting with you. Rogers and HendricksLLP
I am looking for a job and I searched and sent out resumes on craigslist. I got 3 different responses from 3 different ads, but the funny thing was they all said the same thing. I received the first one almost immediately and didn't get the other two till this morning. I went ahead and printed out my credit report because I do that every year anyway, but I was skeptical about sending it. I'm glad I was because after the other two emails came through I knew it had to be a scam. Here's just one of them...... Hello Thank you so much for your interest in our opportunity. I appreciate you contacting us. In case our posting was not clear, some of the responsibilities of this position are as follows: * You will be answering the phone and taking messages when applicable * You will be scheduling the company meetings * Running errands for the company for things such as purchasing supplies and making bank deposits. * You will be provided with a company car. * While you are running errands, you will also be given one of our company credit card(s) for all business purchases. You definitely seem qualified for the position, and more so than the other 16 applicants we received resumes from. I would like to take the next step with you. However, before I am able to schedule a formal meeting, my company will require that you acquire a recent (past 14-21 business days) credit report. We started this because our company had some bad incidents with prior employees taking advantage of having access to a company credit card. Both myself and the company will prefer it that you use //bit.ly/bcWOQn to acquire your check as they are offering the check at zero cost to you (unlike other places). We also discovered that their scores always reported back contain the most accurate information, but feel free to use any service you like. Once you submit all of the required information, they will show your personal report. Please print it out and save it for your records. Please do not email me the entire report, as it will have private content. We can disscuss it when we meet in person. If you have a lower than expected credit score, it will never prevent you from a position with us. I had a fairly low score when I started. Once your finished please e-mail me your phone number that you can be easily reached, and your availability to arrange an interview. Personally, I am hoping to fill this position with a new friendly face and am looking forward to your quick response. Kind Regards, Hanna E CPR Staffing | HR Dept. |
