Dear ,
We are glad to receive your response. Our enterprise is entitled API Company. My name is Kimberly Silverstone and I`m a hiring coordinator. Thus, if you have any issues regarding our position or hiring process, please contact me via email and I would answer you at the earliest convenience. Since I travel a lot, you could be contacted with some delays, please don`t worry about them. Thus, here are the job details:

You would be working at home. No traveling is involved. Your major responsibilities include: maintaining connection with the local customers, elaborating some internal and tax reports you would receive the examples, timely distributing the payments from the customers to our free-lancers, opening a new office branch in your city. Details would be clarified during the training process.

At first, you would have to go through 2-week training period that would be paid by the firm at the rate of $1800. Afterwards, you would become our full-time employee and you would be paid $4500 per month.

To distribute the payments you would get access to our corporate account as soon as you get a full-time position. While you go through the trial period, you would have to use your personal account.

Hours of service: 9am to 3pm Mon-Fri (while you are training); 9am to 6pm Mon-Fri (full-time).

If you agree with the conditions, please find our employment agreement in the attachment. You should print it, fill in it with a pen, scan it and forward to me via email. Also we need a copy of your ID (driver`s license or passport).

Looking forward to hearing from you,
Kimberly Silverstone

I got the same exact e-mail and have had multiple correspondes with Kimberly Silverstone here are some of her replys to my Queries, I removed my name and contact for my protection, At this moment we don`t have a representative near you. As I told you, the company reimburses you these expenses for opening a new account. For the training purposes you need to use a personal account, but since it`s personal, nobody except you has access to it. Then you will get granted access to the corporate account and yours will not be used any more. And I don't feel comfortable working under these conditions. Is there someone local that I can speak to regarding responsibilities and why I am to open a checking account. Thank You Howard ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kimberly Silverstone" <hrdepartment@apimailsys.com> To: Sent: Monday, November 15, 2010 10:53:54 AM Subject: Banking details for API Co. Dear Howard, Welcome to our team! I`m delighted to inform you that you are employed by API Company. Now to start your training we need some banking details of the CHECKING account you are going to use during 2 weeks of training. You should know that the company don`t request any access to it. Here are the necessary details: Account name Account number Bank name Address of the bank branch ACH routing number Wire routing number Year of opening the account Account type (personal\business) For the training purposes you can use your existing account or open a new one. JP Morgan Chase is the most preferable for us. In case you open a new account, the company will reimburse you the expenses. If you are going to open a new account, then open it ONLY with JP Morgan Chase. But as far as you are going to use it for 2 weeks and only for the training purposes, I suppose it will be more convenient to use your existing one. The company doesn`t require any access to your account. If you are going to open a new account, then Chase Bank is preferable. I am also not comfortable giving out that information. Sorry for the inquisitiveness but this sound kind of like some scams I have seen. How do I know this is a legitimate position? How or where can I research your company? Thanks Again

API Company

I've received same message and like you Howard I corresponded with Kimberly multiple times. I've got conratulation e-mail, to welcome me in their team as well. I'm not going to give them any informations about any of my accounts, even the new ones. I think it's a pretty good scam, they sent me their web site address, their phone numbers ( which don't work) and even some autralian security and investement notes about the company. What I think is that the company might be existing, but Ms Kimberly is using their good name for her own business.

I too had several emails between this Kimberly Silverstone and myself. However, I DID respond to a CareerBuilders post about the so-called "position." When I received a response in just a matter of a few days, it made me wonder. Plus, the email said nothing about wanting to interview me nor did this lady seem to want to know anything about me. I emailed API Company to see if she even works for them. The website looks legit, but no one ever responded to my email. You be the judge.....
