I met Jacqueline online and she complained to me about how she was about to get put out by the people she lived with. She told me stories about how her parents had died and how the people she lived with were extremely mean to her. After knowing her for six months I told her she could come and live with me. I sent her two hundred dollars and she came to live with my husband and I in Texas. She gave promises of getting a job and all. So my husband helped her out and got her a phone since her claim was that she was going to be a substitute teacher. Substitute teachers need a phone to be called on for jobs. For five months she laid on my couch, my husband and I paid for her insurance each month and for her medications each month which cost us about one hundred dollars a month. There were several times in which the substitute teacher program would call her and she would hang up her phone on purpose so as to not take the job. She also ran my phone bill up to almost five hundred dollars two months in a row by making charges on it, not to count all the food she ate, my other bills she ran up, etc. I told her that if she wasn't going to work, the least she could do was to help me clean up the home. Where she was not helping to pay bills or rent. Five months later, I'd had enough! She'd run our electricity so high that we had to borrow money to pay it off, and she refused to help me clean. In November I told her she needed to help me pay rent by January or she could go. She proceeded to tell me that I'd nearly given her a heart attack and I told her that she needed to go to the doctor because I had no more sympathy. She then told me she was leaving so I gave her sixty dollars just to get her out of my house. On her way out she stole several of my belongings, including of all things, hair dye. She was going to go stay with someone else and the first thing out of her mouth was that she wouldn't have to pay rent. I honestly think she has been doing this sort of thing for several years now. I pray that no one else falls victim to her mooching ways, as it stands my husband and I were left in a mountain of debt because of her.
