Scammer faxing fake orders to restaurants, reported in complaints from 800notes.com:

"On 1/18/2011 our restaurant in Cincinnati received a fax purportedly ordering food for "300 peoples". It claimed to be from Dan Moore with an email of DANMOORE222@GMAIL.COM. However, the fax cover page appeared to be from James Beaton.
Besides being a run-on sentence one paragraph long with no punctuation, it asked repeatedly that the owner reply via email, and that menu and web site info be included. I would guess whoever composed this doesn't speak English very well."

"This person attempted to use this fax machine number to scam money by having us reimburse a courier service with a cash payment. While they paid us for food catered with a credit card which cleared at first only to be denied 48hrs. later. Luckily I did not pay the courier or release the food."
