I looking for a job and posted on craigslist a high level of my credentials and to email the anonymous email to get my resume. Within 5 min, I received an email asking if I was still looking for a job that 3 had come available. I responded what type of job, but did not send my resume as of yet. I then got a new email saying:

Hi, we have a unique position that is similar to what you are looking for. you can start within the next 3 days if you like. As our employee you will also recieve benefits such as vacations and health insurance. Please let me when is a good time for you to come for an interview. We also require all our employees to take a quick iq quiz, please take this quiz and send me a reply with your score and a good time for us to setup an interview. Here is where you should take the iq quiz http://redirecternow.co.cc/redirect.php?uid=_REMOVED_

I clicked the link and it took me to the supposed IQ test, http://www.1newtest.com. I knew at that moment this was bogus, but went ahead and did the test, since I do like puzzles. At the end it prompted me for my phone number, so I gave it a fake number. It then prompted me to pick my prize, iPad, or some other crap and when I clicked it, it took me to Google's home page. Glad I figured out quick, it was a scam to steal my phone number just so it can add it to my email, along with my full name and sell it. I had a hunch when I got the original email it was fake, because the email was a @yahoo.com instead of a companies domain.
