She posted an ad on an animal rescue organization website saying she found a Beagle near her house and wants someone to take it.
I did everything I possibly could to adopt the dog from her and she had promised to give it to me. I said I would drive HOURS away to get it or meet her, but everytime we came close to finally meeting, she gave me a silly excuse why she couldn't. She then told me she was just going to leave it at animal control. ???
I SAID I WOULD ADOPT IT.
It doesn't make sense that she would post on an animal rescue league website only to be completely flaky to adopters and then take the animal to animal control...
Total flake.
