I had a similar experience when applying to a Craiglist ad. Upload a resume and another e-mail to apply for a credit check. Craiglist does warn you about these scams, so it is a good idea to familiarize youself with these warnings as not to fall prey. Like they always say "if it sounds to good to be true ..." |

What's sad is that most of these scammers pay Craigslist to be able to list their bogus ads. They "pretend" they are a legitimate company, pay the fee to CL, and then run amuck posting ads all over the site. CL seems to be infested with more scammers now than actual legitimate ads. |

I too responded to an ad today in craigslist.org and got the same type of response. Thanks for the warning. What is sad is there are many of us looking for work and they waste our time. |
