Notes:
Guy send me an email saying he wants to come over and "Check out a car I'm parting out". I called him and nicely told him that I don't give my address to strangers inquiring about car parts over the internet. Then I ask him what he needs and tell him I can email him a full discription with a picture. First he says he needs "All kinds of high dollar parts" and acts like money is no object as long as the parts are good, then he asks me for two tiny weather strips that he could buy at the VW Dealer rather cheap. When I pointed this out he told me they were discontinued which is false (I checked my ETKA program after I hung up). I told him I have a minimum purchase price of $30.00 to pull parts and drive to meet customers and he assured me he was willing to pay what good used items were worth because he "Needed so many". Then he asked me what I wanted for the seats and door panels, that is when I realized I was dealing with a "Wal-Mart Shopper" I intentionally quoted him top dollar for my parts to test the water and sure enough he remarked about the parts he found on eBay for 25% of my asking price, then laughed and told me I will never get my asking price and hung up on me. I had to laugh because would you expect anything less from a grown Man driving a VW Cabriolet?
