I have extensive experience suitable to a household/office dynamic having worked as a personal assistant in an in-home office and domestic situation for the past ten years as well as in professional office settings for many years before that. I am very much of the type that believes in a comfortable home life absent the complexities to be found elsewhere. I am educated, trained and experienced in the areas of history, archives and records management so I am able to prioritize and execute with ease.

I drive and have my own vehicle. My duties included screening all business phone calls, scheduling and confirming meetings/events, administrative activities, dog sitting, house sitting and domestic activities such housekeeping, laundry and cooking. I am a very even tempered person that thrives with chaos and stressful situations. It is a fantastic experience that I really enjoy the opportunity to continue. If one is to have a successful business life then it is necessary to see that life at home is pleasing.

My computer skills are not limited to Word, Excel, WordPerfect, PCDOCS, Access, dBase, Outlook, FoxPro, Adobe and FilemakerPro and Word for Mac. There are probably others contained within proprietary systems that I am unable to identify and I would not find it difficult learning new computer applications that may be necessary as with each new employer new software was required.

A little about me personally: I was born/raised in Los Angeles, have lived all my life here and well acquainted with the area and its twists and turns, attended public schools here until moving to Sacramento, California where I earned my BA in American History (California emphasis) with a minor in North American Indian Cultural Anthropology.

I appreciate attractions and activities and have a variety of interests: antiquing; architecture; building things; cinema, crafting, concerts, lectures and theater; historical sites; ice skating; museums; parks with interesting monuments, landscaping or wildlife; reading non-fiction primarily; traveling; volunteer or charity work; and watching various programs (A&E, Discovery Channel, TLC, movie and special event stations).

There are many things to enjoy outside domestic and business activities. I have a fondness for Thomas Jefferson having visited Monticello many times, read about him and Palladio including visiting some of the villas of Jefferson's inspiration while in Italy as well as Jefferson's fondness for a Roman temple at Nimes, France. I hope someday to visit Jefferson's get-away Poplar Forest.

I am very interested in visual arts such as: Impressionism, Arts and Crafts Movement (Morris, Wright, Macintosh, et. al), some Modern Art painting (a particular feeling for Mondrian--simple yet vibrant), Rulhmann, Palladio, Asian art, Capability Brown and Christopher Wren.

I have been to many places in the US (Seattle, Oregon, Southwest, Chicago, New York, Boston, DC, Virginia, Florida), Europe (England, France, Spain, Italy, Greece and Turkey); Middle East (Israel), Africa (Egypt) & Caribbean (on a cruise).

I am resourceful, diligent and personable. I definitely have an inquisitive nature. I look forward to learning more about your situation. My references will provide an exemplary attribution and a background check will be nothing but unsullied.

Kiwi, It's a counterfeit check scam

If you supply your info you will receive a check/money order and be instructed to deposit the check into your bank account, keep $700 and wire the rest to someone. The check/money order is fake and will bounce. You will be out the money, have to pay fines to the bank and legal action can be taken against you for passing a bad check.

We know 101% for sure that this is a counterfeit check cashing scam. DO NOT FALL FOR IT. You WILL lose money and could also face criminal charges for passing a counterfeit check.
